Our History
GivingLife, Inc. began in 2015, as a birthday initiative launched by Founder Ebony Smith. What started as a personal effort to foster community and financially support impactful nonprofit organizations quickly gained momentum. Inspired by the success of the initiative, GivingLife was formally established as a nonprofit organization in 2018, with a mission to expand access to mental health resources and strengthen its outreach
efforts.
As the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the needs of the community, GivingLife, Inc. used this time to grow and evolve. The organization expanded its focus to directly provide mental health services, specifically targeting young adults and adults who are uninsured or underinsured. Today, GivingLife, Inc. continues to provide compassion and advocacy, while working to remove barriers and ensure that quality mental health care is within reach for all.
